The short version

What you scan and create in QR Shop never leaves your device. The app's core features work fully offline. There are no accounts and no ads. Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports are sent only if you explicitly opt in — they are off by default, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Your content stays on your device

Everything you scan or create in QR Shop — QR codes, barcodes, products, prices, stock levels, scan history and payment QR codes — is stored only in the app's local storage on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party.

The app requests the CAMERA permission only to scan codes. Photos you choose from your gallery are processed on-device.

Usage statistics and crash reports (optional, off by default)

Only with your consent, the app may send anonymous usage statistics and crash reports through Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (for example: which features are used, app version, device model, crash logs). Collection is off by default and starts only after you accept the in-app consent request. These reports never include the content of your codes, your inventory, or anything you type into payment forms. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy; statistics are then no longer sent.

Payment QR codes

QR Shop only generates static payment QR codes (SEPA/EPC, UPI, Pix, VietQR) from details you type in. The app does not process, route, hold or confirm payments. Always verify the payee and amount in your banking app before paying any code.

Purchases

The optional Pro upgrade is sold through Google Play. Google processes your payment; we never receive your card or bank details. Your purchase is restored through your Google account.

Notifications

If you opt in, the app may show a local reminder to back up your inventory. Reminders are generated on your device.

Data deletion

Delete your data by clearing history/inventory inside the app or uninstalling the app. Anonymous statistics already aggregated by Firebase cannot be linked to you.

Children

QR Shop is a general-purpose utility for shop owners and staff. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect in the app.
